Why does Hamas fire rockets into Israel?

I thought I would share some of my thoughts and for those who really can’t understand what is going on I have written a simple analogy to make them get an idea of the reality of what is happening in Gaza.

Imagine there that were gangsters surrounding your house who didn't allow you and your children to freely leave or enter your house and as a result your children and family suffered in every way causing death and illness. In other words you were being held hostage in your own house living a life of misery and fear with many dying a slow death. You witness with your own eyes your elderly parents and relatives die due to lack of necessary medication not reaching them because of this terrorising hostage situation. You witness the pain and suffering of loved ones and feel so helpless.

As a result of this dire situation you reach breaking point and a couple of you decide to face and attack the gangsters out of sheer frustration by throwing twigs at them, hardly causing them any harm. Now in retaliation to that twig throwing these gangsters come into your house with guns and bulldozers to find torture, burn and kill the twig throwers, but along with the two twig throwers punish and slaughter 10 innocent women and children and critically injure 20 others.

When the gangsters are interviewed by the pro-state terrorism TV such as BBC, Sky News and CNN and asked to justify their actions, the gangsters cite the reason as " they throw twigs at us which hurt us so we had no choice". Everybody then says these gangsters are defending themselves from these twig throwers. But nobody goes a step back and asks why they throw the twigs in the first place? The real reason why they throw the twigs in the first place is that they are sick of living like hostages in their homes with a lack of basic living requirements that the rest of us all take for granted.

For those of you who couldn’t work out who is who in the above analogy see the following:

Gangster = Israel (A Mighty Monster supported by another Mighty Monster i.e America)

Twigs = Rockets. Israel is a terrorist state and the rockets have only killed a handful of Israeli citizens/army reservists (hardly going into double digits) compared to 100s of Palestinians dying from Israeli bombs and thousands dying due to their blockages and sanctions on Gaza.

Fact 1: If Israel gave freedom to the Palestinians then they would not fire rockets at them.

Fact 2: If Israel stopped occupying Palestinian land and went back to the 1967 borders, Hamas is willing to recognise Israel and put down arms.

Fact 3: Israel broke the peace treaty in November when they tried to attack Hamas in Gaza and killed 25 Palestinians, so why should Hamas renew a peace treaty that Israel doesn't honour anyway. It's a big lie that Hamas broke the peace treaty!

Fact 4: Contrary to the so called peace treaty, Israel continued to block the Gaza strip and made the Palestinians suffer and live miserable lives, once again breaking another fundamental of the peace treaty.

Fact 5: One way you can stop rocket fire by Hamas would be if America supplied the Palestinians with billions of dollars worth of money and weapons like they do with Israel per year, then maybe they could also bomb Israeli military targets with F-16 bombers rather than using amateur rockets. Obviously this is something that they would never do.

Fact 6: People fail to realise that Israel is the most marshal country in the world where every adult is required to serve in the army. So apart from the children and elderly are there any innocent civilians in Israel as all are part of the army? So if the rockets are fired one can argue that the whole of the adult population is a target as they are reservists for the army and any children or elderly killed are collateral damage just like the thousands of innocent killed in Gaza, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Fact 7: Israel during the so called peace treaty with Hamas did not stop the blockade of Gaza. The blockade and sanctions have killed more Palestinians than the bombs in the last week.

Fact 8: Israel killed 30 times more Palestinians in 5 minutes of bombs than Hamas rocket fire had done in 6 years!!! They call it a proportionate response, how absurd!

Israeli Zionists really need to understand that they are only winning the short term war and there is no long term future for them by creating so much damn hatred for themselves in the world. There is a saying in slang english “ever dog has its day” and today its Israel’s day but not for long God willing. I don't think they understand how much the Zionists are hated for what they have done to the Palestinians. One and a half billion Muslims and many millions of non Muslims hate the Zionists. Some people who are unable to differentiate between Zionists and Jews unfortunately just hate all Jews! I mean 25% of the world population hates the Zionists. That's 1 in 4 people. The Zionists are winning the short term war but are losing the long term war! They’re winning the ground war but losing the war of hearts and minds.

Hitler sent the Jews into the fire in the ovens, but now the Zionists are sending the fire from the sky, sea and ground onto Gaza making it into one big oven! Gaza is one big concentration camp!
